We are a South African non-profit organisation that uses African dance to promote healing, cultural pride, and community wellbeing — with a particular focus on cancer patients, youth, and underserved communities.
Dancing Out of Cancer (DOC) is a therapeutic movement programme delivered in healthcare settings. Trained facilitators guide cancer patients and survivors through gentle, adaptive dance sessions designed to reduce anxiety, restore body confidence, and provide emotional support — always in partnership with healthcare professionals.

Many of our community programmes and youth workshops are free or subsidised, funded by our donors and sponsors. Our goal is to remove financial barriers to participation. Contact us to find out about availability in your area.
