The NMDS program is dedicated to building and promoting the culture of South African indigenous dances. It operates as a safe, community-driven space that uses dance as a tool for learning, creating independent and responsible thinkers, and instilling discipline and character in youth, especially within townships.
More than a dance class, NMDS is a crucible for self-discovery and a proud expression of African identity.
Born from Nomsa Manaka's personal triumph over Stage 4 ovarian cancer, the DOC program is a community-driven initiative that provides emotional and psychosocial support to patients, survivors, and caregivers. It actively addresses the lack of psychosocial support in underserved communities.
DOC transforms the trauma of diagnosis into a powerful platform for hope, connection, and self-expression, restoring dignity and igniting resilience.
